Na Fa

Na means grasp, it's a very satisfying technique to apply and is quite easy to master.

Na Fa can be applied in three ways: with the pads of your thumb, index and middle finger; with the pads of your thumb and all four fingers; or with your whole hand. You may like to try incorporating a little Rou Fa.

Grasp the selected tendon or muscle as much as you can with your hand or both hand, squeeze it and lift it slowly, then release it, repeat for several minutes. Na Fa should be rhythmic and gently and gradually increase the pace and strength applied as the area being worked on warms up.
